Ukraine to unravel 'Secret of Butterflies'

Iran 3D animated film 'Secret of Butterflies' is to compete at DYTIATKO International Children’s Television Festival.  

Directed and produced by Ali Tanhaee, the animated piece made to the competition section of the Ukrainian film event.

The 80-minute adventure/comedy animation narrates the story of an insect named ‘Brownie’ who embarks on a risky and adventurous journey to become a butterfly.

In 2017, the animated film won two noms for Best Film and Best Director awards at the 31st edition of International Film Festival for Children and Youth in the historic Iranian city of Isfahan.

DYTIATKO Int'l Children’s Television Festival aims, among others, to discover and support children’s television teams and gifted children and develop creative personality.

The 2018 edition of the festival is slated for September 5-8, 2018 in Kharkiv city, Ukraine.
